I heard our Prime Minister’s recent address to the nation, expressing concern and frustration about our current situation. Although his words were beautifully spoken in Armenian, he emphasized the danger our homeland faces. Within this context, he mentioned the leader of the “Armenian Resistance Movement,” former Minister of Defense and Marshal Arshak Karapetyan, who responded to the Prime Minister’s address.

In his statement, Karapetyan tried to hold all of us responsible for ensuring victory. He pointed out that throughout history, a signed paper has never been enough to save a country or guarantee security. Aggression can only be halted through the use of force. In our case, we need a strong military capable of ensuring our security, as well as a strategic or military ally—specifically, Russia. Karapetyan believes that Russia is our guarantee of victory.
