The President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachatryan, accepted the offers made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. As a result, he signed decrees yesterday to promote officials of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Committees and raise their academic titles. The promotions go to Hakob Ghazaryan, who is the Chief of the Judicial Committee, Aram Poghosyan and Edik Hakobyan, who are members of the Judicial Committee, Vigen Mesropyan, who is a member of the Prosecutorial Committee, and Arman Aslanyan, who is also a member of the Judicial Committee.

On the same day, the President accepted the Prime Minister’s offers to award medals and special certificates. Azat Gevorgyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Court of Cassation, and Rafayel Vardanyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Military-Industrial Complex Division of the Court of Cassation, received the 1st degree medal for their “services rendered to the homeland”. Additionally, Kamoy Shahoyan, the Head of the Department of General Prosecution, and Mkhitar Ghosh, the Head of the Special Investigation Department of the Prosecutor’s Office, were honored with special certificates.
