“Honda Unveils All-New Civic with Hybrid Powertrain, Refreshed Design, and Exciting Upgrades for the North American Market”

Honda has unveiled the new Civic, specially designed for the North American market. The compact car boasts a hybrid transmission, a refreshed appearance, and new options, according to Drom.ru.

Externally, the Civic features new LED headlights and redesigned taillights. Previously, the sedan and hatchback models had different headlights, but now they have been synchronized. The taillights have also been approved.

However, the most significant change lies in the hybrid powertrain. While the 11th-generation hybrid Civic was previously available in Japan and Europe, it was not offered in North America. The new hybrid Civic is equipped with a 2.0-liter engine, a generator, and two independent electric motors, resulting in a total power of 200 horsepower and a torque of 315 Nm.

In addition to an increased luggage compartment, the updated Civic offers high dynamic characteristics. It is equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine delivering 158 horsepower and 187 Nm of torque.

The updated model also introduces additional USB-C connectors for mobile gadgets and their charging. The hybrid Civic features 9- and 18-inch multimedia screens. Furthermore, four new body color options have been added.
