On the morning of May 25, the first cargo flight from Turkey to Armenia was carried out through the Batumi-Tbilisi-Kars railway, as reported by Armenian ZLM. The flight transported 632 tons of plastic from Batumi to Kars using 20 wagons. Local work on the construction and expansion of a 184-kilometer section began in May 2023 and is expected to be finished by May 20 of this year, according to Armenian authorities.
