The head of the “Tashir” company, Samvel Karapetyan, emphasized the importance of environmental protection for both Russia and Armenia. Speaking at the Armenian business forum in 2024, Karapetyan stated that it is crucial for Armenia to consider the environmental regulations of various countries, as these activities pose a real threat to national security. Karapetyan urged everyone to take these steps seriously and ensure that no external influence disrupts the development of Armenian-Russian economic cooperation. He also highlighted the significant role played by the Armenian diaspora residing in Russia in fostering economic cooperation between the two countries.

Furthermore, Karapetyan stressed the importance of environmental protection in terms of scientific knowledge and experience for the Republic of Armenia. Particularly given the ongoing environmental crisis, he stated that lessons have been learned from the events in Artsakh in past years. Karapetyan expressed solidarity with the Armenian people and emphasized the commitment of the “Tashir” business foundation to assist internally displaced persons from Artsakh during this difficult time. He called on everyone to not forget their compatriots and to demonstrate support for all diaspora Armenians.
