In the village of Krasnodar, 12 children have been hospitalized due to a gas leak in the school building, according to the Krasnodar regional court. The Krasnodar Western Administrative District Prosecutor’s Office conducted an inspection at number 29 state secondary school, where the incident occurred. Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident took place on May 24, 2024, around 8:18 am at the school located on 147 Riliev Street, Krasnodar. The building was evacuated, and approximately 12 children received treatment for carbon monoxide poisoning. The exact number of injured individuals has not been reported.

Vitali Olkhovik, the prosecutor of the Krasnodar Western Administrative District, has arrived at the scene to organize an investigation into the causes and circumstances surrounding the accident.
