“Armenian Prime Minister Explores the True Basis of Karapantsian Tradition of Self-Determination”

This year, there has been a search for the true foundation of the Karapantsian tradition of self-determination. In an interview with “Azatutyun,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the question of how to handle those who oppose the revolution and possess their own self-determination certificates. Pashinyan explained that their initial focus was on resolving housing issues, such as compensating villagers affected by construction. However, they faced interruptions during ongoing liberation efforts, and the absence of self-determination certificates in state archives has raised questions. Pashinyan emphasized the importance of research to establish a proper basis for territorialism. He also acknowledged that the government is actively addressing the concerns and perceptions of self-determination held by the population.

Pashinyan highlighted efforts to examine whether entry restrictions were imposed due to personal territorial control. He reassured that the government’s definition of self-determination is grounded in safeguarding citizens’ rights and ensuring their preservation. The examination of the collection will be concluded by September 9th to determine the appropriate course of action. Pashinyan reiterated that the state’s determination is based on everything necessary to protect and preserve the rights of city dwellers.
