The Acting Secretary of the United Armenian Organization, Antoniu Guterish, recently paid a visit to the Cultural Representation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the United Nations. His purpose was to extend condolences on behalf of President Abraham Raisi and Minister of External Affairs Hoseyn Amir-Abdollahian. This visit also included a stop at the memorial of Guterish’s predecessor, Amina Mohamad. Notably, a memorial book has been opened in Iran to honor the fallen soldiers and the President, who was tragically assassinated. It is worth mentioning that the assassination occurred on the same day when Raisi’s chief of staff returned to Iran following negotiations to lift the hydrocarbon blockade with Iran and Azerbaijan at the border. Unfortunately, in addition to the President, the foreign affairs minister and several other high-ranking officials were present during the assassination attempt and lost their lives as well.
