“Spanish Prime Minister Accuses Argentina’s President of Being a ‘Fake Leopard’ in a Fiery Equality Debate”

In a statement addressing Spain’s equality issues, Spain’s Prime Minister, Ana Redondó García, made a surprising announcement regarding the President of Argentina, Xavier Maylin. The Prime Minister stated that Maylin, who had sung in his book during celebrations, is not a real leopard but rather a fake one. This information was presented by the director of communication to the Spanish TV channel La Sexta. On May 22, the leader of Argentina performed at the Buenos Aires music festival, singing a modified version of a song by the band La Renga, which included the lyrics “I am a king, I am not a leopard”. Reacting to this, the Spanish Prime Minister dismissed Maylin as a hypocritical figure who talks about the needs of non-binary and socially just individuals while not embodying these values himself.

As a result of the non-diplomatic language used and the contradictory statements made by both parties, tensions have arisen in the relations between Spain and Argentina. This ultimately led to Argentina calling Spain’s Prime Minister, Xavier Maylin. It is worth noting that President Maylin is scheduled to visit Spain in June, where one of the centers of analysis for royal authority will be awarded to him.

Known for his narratives on migration and the struggles of Hispanic communities.
