On May 23, a serious and tragic car accident took place in the Kotayk province of Armenia. The incident occurred around 17:00 on the Yerevan-Achtarak highway, specifically in the village of Proshyan. Several vehicles, including a Mercedes, a Mercedes Sprinter, two Ford Transit vans, a Nissan, a Toyota, and a Renault, were involved in a collision.

Photographer Gagik Shamshyan, who happened to be at the scene, reported that as a result of the accident, seven individuals of various ages, including pedestrians, were taken to the “Armenia” medical center in Yerevan. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the accident and working to determine the exact circumstances surrounding it.
