The “Shengavit” medical center has reported cases of infant and neonatal mortality, as confirmed by the official committee. According to initial information, both the child and the mother have unfortunately passed away. An investigation is currently underway to determine the causes and circumstances surrounding these tragic deaths.

As a result of this situation, a criminal investigation has been initiated under the 2nd part of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, which pertains to the failure to perform or improper performance of professional duties by a healthcare provider.
