Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan stated on May 23 that she most likely will not have a meeting with Archbishop Bargrat Galstanyan, who is the leader of the “Leader of the Fatherland” movement and also the leader of the HAE Tavush Province. Avanesyan justified her decision by stating that Galstanyan’s concerns do not pertain to spiritual matters. She questioned the necessity of such a meeting, highlighting that her relationship lies with the Armenian Apostolic Church.
