The leader of the political alliance “Civic Contract”, Chakatur Sukiassian, is facing scrutiny for his actions, according to Sergey Ohanian, the head of the “Armenia” parliamentary faction. During the National Assembly meeting on May 23, Ohanian expressed concern about Sukiassian’s behavior, which included making provocative statements from the balcony of the parliament building. These statements involved verbal insults, threats of violence, and calls for disobedience to the authorities. Ohanian condemned these actions, stating that they are unacceptable and may even correspond to certain articles of the Criminal Code. He also pointed out that Sukiassian should not forget that the current situation in Mountainous Karabakh and Armenia is a result of their management, for which they should be held accountable under the Criminal Code.
