Kia has announced the expansion of its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the EV3 concept crossover. The model, initially unveiled as a concept in October 2023, has undergone some minor changes in recent months to further enhance its futuristic design and high-tech interior features. Despite these modifications, the overall classification of the EV3 remains unchanged. Equipped with a centralized display and a digital instrument cluster, the driver can enjoy an array of informative and time-saving features, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and climate control panel. Kia’s focus on passenger comfort is evident with the incorporation of a tray table in the central console, providing a convenient space for passengers during charging time. Advanced technology is at the forefront of the EV3’s design, with the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature enabling the car’s power supply to be used for external devices such as laptops, juicers, and small refrigerators. The infotainment system offers access to streaming services, arcade games, and an educational interface for environmental learning. The Kia EV3 is set to hit the market in South Korea in July 2024, followed by its release in Europe.
