“Chief of Staff Suren Tovmasyan Embarks on Multifaceted Mission: From Jermuk to Switzerland, Prime Minister’s Office Takes Charge”

According to a decision made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Chief of Staff Suren Tovmasyan has been working in Jermuk for the past three days. This decision was stated in the “On the structure and activities of the government” article of the Republic of Armenia Constitution.

Suren Tovmasyan, who is also the head of the Prime Minister’s Office, will be participating in the 11th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. This meeting will take place from June 19-21, 2024, in Shveicariya, and the purpose of Tovmasyan’s participation is to contribute to the implementation of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Based on the budget allocated for the “Realization of the program for the management of State Property of the Government” by the “Inert Property Management of the State Property Department of the State Property Management of the Republic of Armenia” program, Suren Tovmasyan will be responsible for the proper use of funds.

After the completion of his mission, the head of the Prime Minister’s Office of the Republic of Armenia will submit a report on the results of the implementation of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Switzerland. This report is to be presented within three days as per decision N 1230-ND issued by the Prime Minister on September 19, 2018, in accordance with the law.
