“Armenian President Joins HAKK Negotiations: Historic Talks on Artsakh with Azerbaijan Result in Document Signings”

HAKK is expanding its negotiation team with the addition of another member to discuss Artsakh, this time involving talks with Azerbaijan. Recently, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian paid a visit to Baku for discussions with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, which resulted in the signing of several important documents.

According to APA, the presidents signed a “Memorandum on Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan” specifically focused on military cooperation. Additionally, they signed memorandums regarding digital development and transport cooperation, justice cooperation between prosecutor-generals, and ICT security cooperation— all involving the governments of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.

Prior to this, Sarkissian had also visited the presidents of Kazakhstan and Belarus, who also expressed their interest in military cooperation with Azerbaijan.
