Today, on May 21, employees of the NCS Rescue Service in the Kotayk region of the Republic of Armenia successfully disarmed an armed man, according to Shamshyan.com. At around 21:30, the NCS Rescue Service in Kotayk received a report about a village resident shooting with a hunting rifle. The shooter’s whereabouts and identity remained unknown for a significant period of time. However, the rescuers and employees were eventually able to locate the shooter and disarm him. It was discovered that the man was also carrying a loaded “Makarov” type pistol. He was handed over to the NCS Rescue Service in Kotayk, while the pistol and evidence of the incident were later presented to the regional prosecutor’s office, leading to the initiation of a criminal case. The person suspected of attempted murder, Mayis M., a 39-year-old individual, was apprehended during the operation without sustaining any injuries.
