“Drivers of “Yerevan Bus” Call for Reinstatement of Managers as Strike Continues: Alleged Violations and Lack of Organization in Transportation Services”
The operation of the “Yerevan Bus” CJSC is currently ongoing. The drivers of “Yerevan Bus” have commenced a strike to demand the reinstatement of their previous managers. They assert that there are frequent violations of working hours in the transportation service schedules, resulting in delays at bus stops and disorganization in the routes. Not long ago, we reported on the strike by the “Yerevan Bus” drivers, who were calling for the return of their former managers. They claim that Samvel Nazaryan, the temporary representative of the “Yerevan Bus” CJSC, is terminating former employees and appointing his acquaintances instead.
Earlier, Hayk Konstanian, the mayor’s press secretary, stated that some public transportation drivers were neglecting their job responsibilities by not adhering to their working hours and routes. The Yerevan municipality regards this as a deliberate act of sabotage in response to the proposed changes in the transportation sector.
