“Belarusian President Holds Talks with Azerbaijani Counterpart, Discusses Armenia’s 4-Year Experience”

The President of Belarus recently met with the President of Azerbaijan to discuss his four-year experience in leading the Republic of Armenia. During this meeting, the President of Belarus expressed his views on the Republic of Armenia’s situation, particularly in relation to the 44-day war in 2020. He mentioned that although some countries offered assistance during the war, there had been no direct involvement from Belarus. The conflict with the Republic of Armenia has been ongoing since November 9, 2020, without resolution despite numerous attempts. The President of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, also announced the lifting of certain limitations on May 9, 2024, which he sees as a significant moment in Armenia’s history.

Pashinyan believes that the lifting of these limitations will help ensure the country’s security and guarantee its presence for the next few decades. He stated that this step would address 60% of the issues Armenia is facing. However, the sacrifice made to achieve this liberation process raises questions about its necessity. The discussion between the Presidents of Belarus and Azerbaijan sheds light on the complexities and challenges faced by the Republic of Armenia.
