“Armenia and Luxembourg Strengthen Bilateral Relations: President Alen Simonyan Receives Invitation from President of Luxembourg”

We hope that your upcoming visits will be productive. This announcement and your involvement reflect the growing cooperation between Armenia and Luxembourg, as well as the importance of their bilateral relations. These relations extend beyond non-discrimination to include security cooperation and peacekeeping missions in Armenia. On May 22, in Yerevan, the President of the Parliament of Luxembourg, Claude Wiseler, along with his spouse, Mrs. Asulisi, announced that the President of the RA NA, Alen Simonyan, has accepted an invitation from the President of Luxembourg.

Alen Simonyan acknowledged that Claude Wiseler and the attendees play an influential role in shaping Armenia’s stance on various pressing issues. Simonyan highlighted that the visit to the Parliament of Luxembourg, organized by the Palace of the Parliament of Luxembourg, further strengthens the constructive format that fosters closer relations between Armenia, the EU, and Luxembourg. Simonyan also emphasized the importance of continuing negotiations on the Karabakh-EU and Karabakh-Luxembourg relations, while addressing the imprisonment of over 100 Armenian soldiers by Azerbaijan.

Simonyan emphasized Armenia’s readiness to collaborate, spanning from political dialogue to military cooperation, international court decisions, and various fields such as science, education, and culture. The discussions with Wiseler covered a wide range of topics, without any restrictions, encompassing political dialogue, military cooperation, public security, and the arts. Additionally, Simonyan mentioned that Wiseler will have an opportunity to speak at the EAEU summit, which is an exceptional situation.
