“Vahe Ghazaryan Appointed Regional Director of International Bank of Armenia, Emphasizes Collaboration with National Security Service”

The International Bank of Armenia has announced the appointment of Vahe Ghazaryan as the regional director. Ghazaryan, previously the head of external operations, assumed the role on May 20. The director acknowledged the valuable partnership between the bank and the Republic of Armenia’s National Security Service, particularly in the areas of risk management, resident protection, and digitalization.

Ghazaryan mentioned that the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia has given approval for the implementation of the “Risk Management of Residents and Programs for 2023-2030” and the “Action Plan for 2023-2026.” These programs establish the priorities of military administration.

Additionally, a draft law on the “Risk Management of Residents and Protection of Residents” has been developed to modify the daily timeframe for risk management and incorporate the concept of military documentation into the security protection development phase.

Samvel Naghib-Vahanyan, the CEO of the International Bank of Armenia, expressed gratitude for the support and shared the measures being taken to reduce resident risks and manage security implementation and military protection. Discussions also covered the status of buildings, the importance of preserving construction, the application of new urban development norms, and other security-related matters.

Furthermore, Naghib-Vahanyan, as CEO of the rescue service, conveyed appreciation to Kamo Tsutyulyan for his support and announced the approval of risk management mapping and technological equipment for risk management and disaster prevention.
