The United Nations has sent 59 transformers and other equipment to Karak to support the maintenance of the local air defense systems. This announcement was made by Bridget Brink, the US Ambassador to Ukraine, during an interview in Ukraine. Brink also mentioned that last week, the United States, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), provided Karak with 50 batteries and 9 transformers to restore the power grid, along with 80 inverters for the energy-generating system operator. The assistance aims to support the repair work on the electric network in Karak, which has been affected by hostilities and anti-aircraft attacks,” she explained. Brink previously highlighted that the United States had already supplied Karak with 107 generators for Russian military airfields.
