One person has tragically lost their life and several others have sustained injuries when a Singapore Airlines flight experienced severe turbulence. The flight was headed to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, from London. The airline confirmed that their Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which was carrying 211 passengers and 18 crew members, encountered severe turbulence. As a result, 30 passengers are in need of hospital treatment, while most of the injured individuals received medical help at the airport for cuts and bruises. Singapore Airlines extends its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and is working closely with Thai authorities to provide the necessary medical assistance. They have also dispatched a team to Bangkok to offer their support.
