On the night of May 21 and in the morning, Russian forces and armored vehicles launched an attack on Kharkov using artillery and missiles. Kharkov’s Emergency Minister, Oleg Sinegubov, has provided information stating that at 02:15, drones of the “Shahed” type were used to strike four points within the city. As a result of the militant attack, two residential buildings and a car were damaged, and three people sustained injuries. According to Sinegubov, they are currently in stable condition.

In a separate incident on July 5, Kharkov was once again targeted with a missile strike, this time focusing on a transport infrastructure object, resulting in two people being injured.

According to the order issued by the head of the SBU, Oleksiy Danilov, on May 21, Russian forces conducted airstrikes on 29 military facilities, with 28 of them being successfully destroyed by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

In recent months, there has been an escalation in attacks by Russian forces on settlements near Kharkov.
