“National Assembly Descends into Chaos as Crucial Issues Remain Unaddressed”

In the National Assembly meeting on May 21, Artyom Minasyan, the representative of the “Armenia” faction, raised concerns about the absence of discussions on population and organizational issues in the assembly’s agenda. Specifically, he highlighted the rejection of a draft document on demarcation and delimitation presented by the “Armenia” and “I Have Honor” factions by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. This rejection hindered important discussions related to national security and government priorities. Minasyan criticized his colleagues for making controversial statements and questioned their motives. Chairman of the NA, Alek Simonyan, responded by emphasizing that Armenia does have defined boundaries according to the constitution. The exchange ended with Simonyan declaring the conversation over.
