The National Assembly of Armenia met today, May 21, to discuss its regular agenda, which consisted of 19 items. One of the items on the agenda was the selection of a Constitutional Court judge. David Khachatryan, the brother of the chairman of the commission on judicial and legal issues, Sason Khachatryan, was chosen for the position.

It is worth mentioning that the discussion regarding the selection of the Constitutional Court judge was supposed to take place during the previous session, but was postponed due to the absence of the judge.

The second session of the meeting included seven additional items on the agenda. Some responsible authorities have been invited to participate in the session and discuss specific questions related to the release of the imprisoned opposition leader in Davush.
