“Armenian Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Vienna: Meeting with Joint Investigation Team Co-Chairman Sparks Discussion on Comprehensive Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict Investigation and Armenian-Russian Cooperation”

In Vienna, Armenian Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Co-Chairman of the Joint Investigation Team on May 20. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the organization of a comprehensive investigation into the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The two parties talked about the importance of the investigation and its role in preventing impunity. They also highlighted the need for increased cooperation between the organization and Armenia. Mirzoyan expressed Armenia’s commitment to the agreement and stressed the importance of its continued implementation and visibility. Additionally, they discussed the progress of programs aimed at improving opportunities for conflict resolution, as well as current regional issues. Armenia signed the agreement on October 1, 1996, and ratified it on July 12, 2006.
