“YandexGPT AI System Under Fire: Criticism of Inadequate Responses to Questions Raises Concerns”

The YandexGPT artificial intelligence system, used in the “Alyssa” application, has faced criticism for its inadequate response to questions, according to Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

Although YandexGPT is not a Russian company, its service is employed by “Alyssa” (which requires payment). Medvedev highlighted the alleged incorrectness of the AB field when it comes to answering educational queries. For instance, when asked about the location of Simon Vandenbergen’s monuments in the Netherlands, the system failed to provide the correct response, causing frustration.

Medvedev was particularly amazed at the AI system’s capabilities in art and science, which seemingly do not extend to managerial tasks or divine abilities. He acknowledged the expertise of foreign professionals in this area.

On February 5, Dutch company Yandex N.V. announced a joint investment of RUB 475 billion (USD 5.21 billion) to sell its Russian business, in a consolidation involving Russian oligarchs Yandex-Money Management and Lukoil’s service facilities. Notably, none of the new sales managers are tax officials.

The company has announced its construction and corporate management plan for the second quarter of 2022. The board has prepared a division plan that involves sacrificing certain departments, thereby excluding non-believers and cloud businesses.

As per the results, “Yandex” will retain the services and activities of the Yandex N.V. team, which includes Nebius, Toloka, Avride, and TripleTen’s international startups, as well as the Finnish Databank Center.
