The Morning Bus of Tehran’s Foundation Suspends Operations Following President Raisi’s Tragic Death in Azerbaijan Attack

The morning bus of Tehran’s foundation has ceased operations following the announcement of the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, as confirmed by bus manager Reza Ayuzlun. Ayuzlun stated, “The foundation’s bus will remain closed until further notice.” It has been reported that on May 19, the bus, carrying President Raisi, Deputy Prime Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and other officials, was attacked at the northern border of the country with Azerbaijan. Yesterday morning, Iranian Vice President Mohsen Manzoori confirmed the unfortunate news that the President and his delegation had been killed as a result of the bus attack. The delegation had recently returned from a visit to Azerbaijan, where President Raisi attended the opening of the Giz Galasi hydroelectric power plant and laid the foundation for the Khudaverdi hydroelectric power plant on the Aras River.
