The European Union has expressed concern over the assassination of the President of Iran, Raisi, the Deputy Prime Minister Abdollahian, and other members of the country’s government and military through a terrorist attack. Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, reported this on social media.

Joseph Borrell, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, also issued a statement on external relations and security issues. In his statement, he condemned the assassination of Iran’s Islamic Republic President Ibrahim Raisi, Deputy Prime Minister Huseyn Amir Abdollahian, and other high-ranking officials, stating that it was a result of a terrorist attack.
