Members of the Security Council of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia have expressed their condolences for the tragic death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Prime Minister Hassan Abdoallahian, and members of the delegation. They also emphasized the significance of cooperation between Iran and Armenia.

The attack specifically targeted Raisi and his delegation, who were on their way back from the inauguration of the Aras River dam. This dam had been constructed in the area of Artsakh by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev. Unfortunately, a car accident occurred during their journey, resulting in the deaths of the Iranian President, the Prime Minister, and other officials who were part of the convoy.
