“Armenian Concerns Grow as India and Iran Develop Caucasian Navigation System, Azerbaijan’s Use Under Scrutiny”

The Caucasian navigation system is currently being developed by India and Iran. However, Armenian officials have recently expressed concerns regarding Azerbaijan’s use of this system. In an interview with Armpress, Nilakash Shah, the Indian Ambassador to Armenia, revealed that they are awaiting detailed information from Azerbaijan, following their Minister of Transport’s visit in December. Shah further stated that Armenia’s involvement in the development of the Caucasian navigation system could be discussed as part of future cooperation. He emphasized that as a landlocked country, Armenia would greatly benefit from projects connected to the sea, and that access to the sea would help overcome their disadvantage.
