President Raisi Faces Challenges on Border Visit as Iranian TV Correspondent Reveals Details

The official Iranian television correspondent, who accompanied Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi during his official visit to the Iran-Azerbaijan border, has shared details of the President’s trip. According to the correspondent, the border area near the town of Varazgan is challenging to navigate due to its difficult terrain, including steep slopes and limited visibility. Only a few vehicles are able to reach the site, making the situation more complicated. The correspondent also mentioned that while he did not accompany the President, three cars were sent, but only two returned. The President’s visit to the city is time-sensitive as it involves the opening of the Tabriz-Nakhchivan railway construction. These circumstances have made it difficult for the President to reach the border area.
