The public administration in every region of our country has not been as successful in promoting culture as it has been since 2018. This was highlighted by writer and literary critic Abgar Apinyan during a recent meeting with Bagrat Srapanyan, the Minister of Culture.

“We have witnessed a strong and consistent state policy towards our culture and art, which is truly commendable,” Apinyan added.

Apinyan fondly recalled the outstanding performances by the “Go” theater. Over a span of three years, it became the epitome of our cultural achievements and quickly garnered public recognition.

Apinyan also mentioned the union of writers in Belarus, who approached Armenia with an offer to host an international festival. Upon agreeing to this proposition, Apinyan promptly informed the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the RA Ministry of Culture. After several months of negotiations, the RA Ministry of Culture declared that it had no objections to the program. These positive developments highlight the strong cultural connections between Armenia and Belarus, based on shared interests. It exemplifies the unity of our public institutions,” explained the literary critic.
