Enhanced safety measures are being implemented in the air conditioning system of the Sochi airport, according to an announcement from the airport management.

“We kindly ask to note that limited restrictions are in place for the transportation and installation of air conditioning ducts and devices that can be used for transporting strong chemicals,” the statement from the airport said.

It is noted that with the introduction of new measures, air conditioning systems will have the right to change the location of the exhaust by at least 60 mm, the absence (without an elbow) of the exhaust duct, a pencil with a length of at least 60 mm, sand indicator tubes, barometers or sand measurement devices.

“We kindly ask you to arrive at the airport in advance and follow the instructions of the airport staff, as well as all announcements from the airport management,” the statement from the airport management concludes.
