“Putin and Jinping Discuss Collective Security Treaty Organization’s Peacekeeping Mission at G20 Summit, Aim for Stronger Eurasian Security”

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping recently discussed the peacekeeping mission of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) during their meetings at the G20 summit in China, according to the Russian news outlet RIA Novosti.

“During our meeting in China, we discussed the issue of CSTO’s peacekeeping mission, as well as during our interactions and negotiations. We observe that the implementation of the peacekeeping concept of global security has started in Europe without any European guarantees,” stated Putin. The President emphasized that Russia is open to dialogue on security and military matters in the Eurasian region.

“However, we approach this dialogue not from a position of force or geopolitical ambitions, but based on mutual interests and the need to strengthen security,” Putin added.

Another important task for Russia is resolving conflicts in the region as a whole. These conflicts exist in the realm of military operations and military landscapes in today’s world.
