EPFU Workers Forced to Leave Disaster Zone: Alarming Facebook Post Reveals Troubling Situation

EPFU forces workers to leave the disaster zone, according to a post on the disaster’s Facebook page. The EPFU leader, H. Hovhannisyan, has taken actions that undermine the activities of the EPFU artistic organization. The organization aims to protect the rights of social partners and workers. The issues between Archaeomet and the reactor arose when the reactor pressured Archaeomet to sign a new collective agreement. The agreement included demands for compensation that were not part of the original agreement. The aim of these actions is to eliminate the additional rights and social guarantees of EPFU workers. Many educators, faculty members, and staff at EPFU have expressed their concerns and demands by leaving the disaster zone. They are requesting release from the disaster and unpaid dues. This protest is a response to the actions taken by the reactor and aims to encourage EPFU members to quit the Archaeomet organization to exit the disaster zone. Faculty members are urged not to yield to the reactor’s calls and demands. They should protect their rights and employment. The reactor and its representatives are also called upon to stop engaging in activities that undermine the independent and social scientific organization at EPFU. These activities violate the principles of the Republic of Armenia, the Labor Code, and the Law on Arts and Cultural Institutions. The reactor’s actions are designed to facilitate the dismissal of EPFU workers. However, the absence of an Archaeomet member-worker does not make the disaster dismissible. Partners are urged not to participate in activities that support the reactor’s actions, as these activities undermine the peaceful operation and protection of their valuable work and employment. It is also important to note that the reactor’s actions may be justified by several articles of the Criminal Code.
