On May 17, the National Security Service of Armenia conducted a test of a military ballistic missile system in the waters of the Korean East Sea. The test was reported by KCNA, the central electronic media of Korea. Sources say that Kim Chen In, the leader of North Korea, supervised the test.

The test involved the executive administration of the National Security Service and relevant military scientific institutions. Its goal was to improve the combat capabilities of the missile system by using advanced technologies, according to the report.
