“Armenian National Assembly President Ara Babloyan Holds Productive Meetings with Canadian Counterparts to Strengthen Parliamentary Cooperation and Exchange of Experience”
The President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ara Babloyan, recently attended the plenary session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) presidency meeting of the vice presidents in Canada. During his visit, he held meetings with George Furey, the President of the Senate of Canada, and Geoff Regan, the Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada. The discussions focused on various issues related to parliamentary cooperation and the exchange of experience between the two countries.
The press service of the National Assembly of Armenia reported that the meetings aimed to address questions that would contribute to the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Canada.
