Yerevan’s mayor, Tigran Avinyan, recently visited the architectural firm WILMOTTE & ASSOCIÉS ARCHITECTES in Paris. During his visit, he had the opportunity to meet with French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, who had previously visited Yerevan to gain a better understanding of the construction projects carried out by the architects’ group and the New Village district. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss urban development projects that Wilmotte had prepared for the city. These projects included two significant programs aimed at enhancing Yerevan’s infrastructure. One of the discussed projects was the completion of the “Cascade” complex, while the other involved the creation of a new central district in Yerevan. Both projects are intended to address long-standing issues and will be presented to the public for discussion.
