Russia’s New Prime Minister Declares Constructive Collaboration with Military-Industrial Complex and Defense Manufacturers, Says President Putin

The newly appointed Prime Minister of Russia, Andrey Belousov, has announced a collaborative effort with the military-industrial complex, scientists, and military technology manufacturers for the country’s defense, as confirmed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Putin stated, “Andrey Removich, as you know, has a background as an economy minister and is considered one of the best economists in the country. He has also served as an assistant in economic matters and was the first deputy head of the government,” as reported by Interfax.

Additionally, Putin acknowledged the previous Prime Minister, Sergey Shoygu, for taking steps towards enhancing national security. Putin mentioned that due to Belousov’s previous role as the finance minister, he will have a better understanding of their legal obligations. These factors were instrumental in Belousov’s appointment as the Prime Minister of Defense.
