The “Zhoghovurd” newspaper recently reported on the conclusion of the investigation into an incident involving Hakob Aslanyan, a member of the “Citizens’ Agreement” faction in the National Assembly. Vardanyan has been accused by the investigating commission of inciting violence through false and misleading articles in the newspaper. He is also alleged to have used psychological and informational techniques to influence public opinion and spread slander. As a result, he is currently under house arrest.
