The supervisory committee is currently conducting investigations in the central office of “Eureka” supermarkets. All branches of the network are closed at the moment.

Eyewitnesses report that inspectors arrived during working hours, asked employees of the supermarket to leave, and closed the doors of the central office. The employees informed us that the supervisory committee is conducting investigations in the office and it is not possible to enter.

Earlier, the supervisory committee had announced that inspections related to the investigation of tax evasion and smuggling during the sale of imported goods are being carried out in various central offices of Eureka supermarkets, in different locations.

Let us note that according to a statement issued by the SRC, a tax violation in the amount of 20 million AMD was revealed to allow the application of “Eureka” HDM rules only in April.
