“Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine Showcases 70 Years of Achievements in Groundbreaking Exhibition: BANVOR. EPUR EXPO-2024”

The largest telecommunications company in Armenia, Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine, recently showcased the history and achievements of its 70-year-old plant at the exhibition “BANVOR. EPUR EXPO-2024” in Yerevan. This exhibition is dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the Public University of Armenia and emphasizes the company’s commitment to its customers, students, veterans, and exhibition visitors. The CEO of Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine, Vardan Ghazaryan, highlighted that progress in metallurgy is not limited to countries with low levels of development. Developed countries like the US, Canada, and Australia have also made significant advancements in this field. Ghazaryan stressed the importance of technical skills and knowledge in transforming raw materials into high-tech devices, and the need for a diverse and expert workforce. The Minister of State Revenues and Relations at the Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine, Arayik Margaryan, emphasized the crucial link between education, research, technical expertise, and technological advancements in the field. The exhibition attracted visitors such as Stella Shahinyan, a student at Yerevan State University, who was impressed by the progress achieved and the potential of the field. The exhibition aimed to showcase the significant opportunities brought by progress in metallurgy, specifically in the mining industry, and increase interest and recognition in the region.
