The rescue service has announced that a road in the Republic of Armenia is currently closed. Specifically, in the Ararat province near the village of Getapnya, a section of the road leading to the border with Iran has been shut down due to a landslide. Furthermore, heavy snowfall is occurring in the high mountainous areas of Syunik province. On a positive note, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of the North Caucasus have confirmed that the Stepanakert-Lachin Highway is open for all types of transportation.
