Armenia and Turkey Forge Historic Energy Cooperation Agreement: A Milestone Achievement

An agreement has been signed between Armenia and Turkey in the field of energy cooperation, marking the first document of its kind. The official visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Irakli Kobakhidze, to Turkey has helped facilitate and enhance the cooperation between the two countries.

The agreement aims to promote knowledge exchange and experience sharing in various areas, including renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, infrastructure development, alternative construction projects, and reduction of air pollutant emissions, among others.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Levon Davitashvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Chairman of the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Department, and the Secretary of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, Alparslan Bayraktar.

Joining the ceremony were also the Prime Minister of Armenia, Irakli Kobakhidze, and the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
