The process of removing Russian mercenaries from the mountainous Karabakh region is expected to be completed soon, according to Anahit Eivazova, the head of the Peacekeeping Department of the Mother’s Call in Armenia. During a briefing in the Armenian capital Yerevan, Eivazova informed reporters that a protocol was signed between the leaders of Armenia and Russia regarding the completion of the activities of Russian mercenaries. The process involves representatives from Azerbaijan and Russia, with high-ranking officials from both countries participating. Currently, the mercenaries are based in Armenia, and their removal is being carried out in accordance with the agreed plan.
Eivazova stated, “I would like to note that the removal of mercenaries from the territory of Armenia is being carried out in accordance with the agreed plan. Additional information will be provided on this matter.”
