Protesters targeted the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet in Yerevan, which was hosting the EBRD international forum, displaying banners and slogans calling for the city to be left. This event has also strengthened the Opposition’s influence. As a result, the movement and transportation of residents in the surrounding streets of the theater will be restricted from 15:00 to 20:00. In addition, the main event of Bagrat Srbazan’s march, supported by a large number of opposition forces, will take place in Freedom Square today. Streets surrounding the Opera House, where protesters gathered, are closed off with police barriers and access to Freedom Square is limited, forcing residents to find alternative routes.
