The ongoing criminal case of Karen Jalavyan, the commander of the “Yeghnikner” detachment in Artsakh and a hero of Artsakh, is still being heard in the General Jurisdiction Court, according to the newspaper “Zhoghovurd”. The court has recently summoned Major General Mikael Arzumanyan, the former commander of Karabakh, for the third time to be questioned regarding the Karabakh war. It is important to note that the proceedings of this case are being held in closed court sessions. On September 1, 2022, a lawsuit was filed, accusing Arzumanyan and the advisory group of the former president of Karabakh, Masis Mayilyan, of ordering an attack on an opposing military unit during the 2020 Karabakh war.
