Farah Dachlalian, the official representative of the Helsinki Committee of Armenia, shared her concerns about the proposed amendments in Georgia’s “Law on the Rights of Foreign Nationals.” She stated in her microblog that the Armenian government’s decision to accept the provisions of the “Law on the Activities of Foreign Nationals” is a misguided move that distances Armenia from European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Dachlalian also emphasized the need for a change in Armenia’s political direction and a respectful approach towards the right to peaceful protests.
